We collect only the information necessary to provide and secure our educational services:
- Account Data: Legal name, email address, and encrypted credentials.
- Learning Progress: Quiz scores, progress tracking, and detailed interaction data with our Trained LLM study aids.
- Transaction Data: Purchase history and invoice records required for professional licensing proof.
2. Third-Party Processors
We utilize trusted industry infrastructure to deliver our services. We do not sell your data; these providers process information strictly on our behalf to ensure platform stability and security.
Akamai/Linode, BunnyCDN, and Cloudflare (including Turnstile security).
Stripe (Payments), Mailgun (Email), and Google Analytics (Usage Statistics).
3. Trained LLM Processors
Data Anonymization Policy:
We use OpenAI and Google Gemini to power our educational explanations. We do not transmit your Personal Information (PII) to these providers. Only anonymized course content and general queries are processed.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
- Active Accounts: We retain your learning history indefinitely to allow for long-term professional development and certification maintenance.
- Financial Records: Upon account deletion, we are legally required to retain transaction records for a minimum of 7 years for tax and accounting audits.
- Course Data: All non-financial data, including quiz scores and custom study notes, are permanently erased upon account deletion.
5. Children's Privacy
Flashcard Studio is not intended for use by children under the age of thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect, use, or store personal information from individuals under the age of 13.
If we become aware that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to promptly delete such information from our records.
